Room Hire at Dorking Quaker Meeting House
We are very pleased to share our space with the community and welcome enquiries from any organisation (charity, business, social enterprise, faith group, community action group) which is in line with our Quaker values.

We currently offer space to a variety of hirers: Yoga classes, recovery & healing groups, local charities & businesses, environmental causes, and much more.
All bookings must include any time required for setting up or clearing away the spaces used.
Times of sessions: Morning 9.00-1.00; Afternoon 2.00-6.00; Evening 7.00-10.00
The Meeting House is not ordinarily available on Sundays, or between 10.00 and 4.00 on Wednesdays. Please note that availability is subject to prior bookings. Our hirings team can be contacted at: Room Hire Bookings.
To make a booking:
- Please first read the Booking Form with Conditions of Use linked here and above.
- Click through to the Hallmaster booking calendar to check for availability. Please note this is a guide only!
- Download, complete and return the booking form by email.
- Please note that all new hirers must sign our Fire Safety document.
- If the proposed booking meets our hire policy, and there is availability, a provisional booking will be held.
- The office will contact you and send an invoice for the booking which must be paid before the date of your booking.

Small Hall
This room links to the Large Hall, has access to the garden and pass through access to the kitchen. It can accommodate 40 people.
The current rate is £26.00 per session
Large Hall
This is the main place of worship in our building.
It has entrances both to the lobby and the Small Hall.
It is full of light, has gorgeous panelling and the view of our screen.
It has heavy benches, which need to be returned to position before the end of the session.
The current rate is £37.50 per session. The Large Hall has space for 80 people.
Quiet Room
This room is at the front of the building near the entrance, and opposite the kitchen.
The current rate is £15.50 per session. The Quiet Room can accommodate 10 people.
Office
This room is occasionally available for hire.
The current rate is £11.50 per session. Please contact us for more details.
Kitchen
Our kitchen can accommodate 12 people. The current rate is £20.00 per session.
Facilities
All rooms have access to the kitchen and toilet, plus shared usage of the garden.
