Dorking Quaker Meeting House is on Butter Hill, off South Street, which is in the town centre almost opposite the main entrance to Waitrose. There is a bus stop on South Street, below the Meeting House, for buses from Dorking Main and Dorking Deepdene railway stations, Kingston, Leatherhead and Reigate. Buses from Guildford and Horsham stop in West Street, five minutes’ walk away.
The three railway stations – Dorking Main, Dorking West and Dorking Deepdene – are all about a mile from the Meeting House. The first serves trains between Horsham and London, while the second and third stations are on the Reading to Gatwick Airport line. Please note that trains stop far more frequently at Dorking Deepdene than at Dorking West.
The nearest public car park is five minutes away, off the High Street. If travelling from the East turn left after The White Horse Hotel (the turn-off is just before Oxfam) and before the pelican crossing. If travelling from the West, turn right quite soon after the crossing. You can pay using RingGo: 5628 by phone, app or online.
